If I can actually handle all of it (planning, organizing, etc.)

That my co-operating teacher and I won’t get along.

That it will be nothing like I expect.

That the students will not respect me, and I will not be able to discipline them.

I don’t have any fears – it’s all a process.

I’m not good – I don’t know what I’m doing or not ready; failing or that I won’t complete all requirements or have time to get my work finished.

Going into a new school.

Classroom management; classroom control; discipline.

That I will get nervous and screw up.

The kids.

Not knowing enough; not knowing full content.

Now knowing how to deal with behavior problems.

That I will be so bad as a teacher that I will be asked to leave.

No interaction with other student teachers – no one to talk to about experiences aside from supervisor.

Stress and time.

Location and traveling.

That the kids might not like me, or won’t pay attention to me because I am not their teacher.

Trust between me, cooperating teacher and students.

Being accepted by the students and feeling as if I am not doing enough or using all my capabilities as a teacher.

Cooperating teacher being mean or strict in her ways.

That I will clash with my cooperating teacher. I have heard so many horror stories about student teachers and co-ops not getting along.

Planning.

Having a student lose control and hurt another student.

Messing up in front of everyone.
